I listened to this album again and again, but I don’t know why I feel that something is missing here. Seal is one of the greatest melody maker that I’ve ever heard and it’s good to know he didn’t loose his touch with System which has more consistent melodies than Seal IV. The album starts with the song “ If It's In My Mind, It's On My Face “, which is a great song with powerful melody, Seal’s voice is really good even if I think that he doesn't need all that reverb FX in his voice, we lost the intimate side that we had in the previous albums, and I do think that it’s not so beautiful when he push his voice on the limit in the middle of the song around 2:48, but over all this is a great song... |
